How does Barefoot Massage turn my vacation home into a spa?
We bring massage tables, sheets, oils and a small speaker system to provide relaxing music.
What do I need to prepare?
We need a 10' x 5' area in which to work. Media rooms, master suites and bunk rooms are ideal. You need to choose a space where we will set up for the entire time of our visit. Due to zoning issues, we are not allowed to massage on the beach. Weather permitting, a covered deck in a quiet area is also suitable.
Do I have to know what type of massage I want to make a reservation?
When you make a reservation, you are reserving the therapist's time. During that time you select the length of the massage and what type you prefer. For example, during a two hour reservation a therapist may give one person a 50 minute Swedish massage and another a 50 minute deep tissue massage. The remaining time is used for setup and cleanup.
Is there a minimum of amount of time for a reservation?
Each reservation has a two hour minimum per therapist.
Are there any group discounts?
If you book one therapist for 6 hours, you will receive $5.00 off each 50 minute service and $10.00 off each 80 minute service. Please note, 25 minute services are never discounted.
Is there a travel fee?
There is not a travel fee for any town between Nags Head and Corolla in the Outer Banks.
Does Barefoot Massage travel outside the towns between Nags Head and Corolla?
For individual or small groups we provide massages only in the towns of Nags Head, Kill Devil Hills, Kitty Hawk, Southern Shores, Duck and Corolla. For large groups, we will occasionally travel outside this area for pre-paid reservations along with a travel fee.
Will I need to undress for a massage?
You may disrobe to your comfort level.
